INTRODUCTION
Operational Research(OR)can be defined as a scientific method for problem solving. The methodologies and principles of OR have been applied to the problems of agriculture, food production, health, education, infrastructure and other related fields in the developed economies. Such applications in the case of developing economies have been scarce.OR has a major role in solving the complex problems of inclusive growth and sustainable development with interdisciplinary and innovative approaches.
