Announcement for Faculty Position in the Industrial Engineering Department, Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile.
 
The Industrial Engineering Department at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile (www.ind.utfsm.cl), invites applications for a faculty position in the field of Operations Management (OM) at Campus Vitacura, Santiago, Chile.

Candidates should have an appropriate academic background and expertise to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise theses, conduct high quality research in collaboration with industry and government, publish his/her academic works in prestigious journals, participate in outreach activities. Business and professional experience and fluent written and spoken Spanish and English languages are desired.

The ideal candidate must be Industrial Engineer, holding a Doctoral degree or in the final phase of the doctoral studies.  In addition, applicants should have academic and professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Operational Excellence Models (Lean Management), and in the management and improvement of service organizations.
