University College Dublin invites applications for the position of ICON Professor of Business Analytics. The successful candidate will become a member of the MIS Subject Area within the UCD College of Business (further details regarding the College and subject area are available at http://www.ucd.ie/business/) and will be expected to actively lead the development of the College’s profile in teaching, research and innovation and programme development in Business Analytics. The successful candidate will also be expected to play a lead role in developing strong linkages with industry,
with cognate research centres and groups across the University, and externally.

95 Professor (2013) Salary Scale: €84,638 – €112,271 per annum OR 95 Full Professor (2013) Salary Scale: €115,887 – €148,886 per annum*.

Appointments will be made on the relevant scale, and at point on the scale in line with the Department of Finance guideline / and also in accordance with UCD HR salary regulations.

* For a suitably qualified candidate, appointment at Full Professor level may be considered.
