Health care is a highly important application area for Operations Research. It provides us with a wide range of problems and applications that are suitable for attack through OR machinery. The spectrum of OR problems in health care is continuously becoming wider.

The International Conference on Stochastic Programming is organized every three years by COSP, the Committee on Stochastic Programming. The conference aims to bring together the leading researchers in stochastic programming, practitioners in the field, students, clients and users.

We invite you to attend the VI Moscow International Conference on Operational Research. The conference will bring together scientists from all over the world to discuss theoretical aspects and various applications of operation research. Dorodnicyn Computing Center of RAS (CC of RAS), Lomonosov Moscow State University and Russian Scientific Operation Research Society will organize the VIth Conference in October 2010 in Moscow. Working languages of the conference –English and Russian.
