Following the successful 1 st conference of the EURO Working Group on the Practice of Operations Research, held in Paris Saclay in February 2018, the 2nd edition is going to take place on 11th and 12th March 2019 in the beautiful city of Bologna (Italy) and is going to focus on the interaction between Operations Research and Machine Learning in industrial applications.

 

The event will mix contributions from participants on innovative examples of projects where OR and ML were integrated in PRACTICAL ways working with public or private sector organisations (or as consultants providing services to such organisations), poster sessions, parallel sessions on hot sub-topics and the keynote speeches by:

*Mauricio G. C. Resende, Principal Research scientist at Amazon – Seattle (USA)

*Raffaele Maccioni, CEO of Actor, finalist at the last F. Edelman Award (OPTICAR) – Rome (IT)
