The aim of the conference is the interdisciplinary discussion related to competences for the future of learning organizations, an ever-changing economy and job market requirements. The detailed aim of the conference is the integration of representatives of academic circles from a variety of countries such as the USA, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland and Poland, who will share their research outcomes and conclusions concerning competences for the future in learning organizations. The issues listed below represent a range of the most important problems that require in-depth analysis and empirical verification.

Suggested conference problem areas:
– Knowledge management, managing competences in a learning organization, an intelligent organization, competences in smart cities, a smart organization, smart factories, smart networks;
– Managing competences for the future in individual and organizational dimensions;
– Learning organizations – professional and social competences;
– Quality in the context of competence and knowledge management;
– Process automation in public institutions, private institutions and businesses including, among others, Industry 4.0;
– Leadership in intelligent organizations;
– Effectiveness of methods improving competences for the future;
– Innovativeness as the main competence for the future.

Form of participation
Depending on the number of registered participants, an open debate and a debate in thematic sections can be held. In thematic sections, presentations are expected to last about 15 minutes (contingent on the final arrangement of the conference).

As for the conference, we offer two forms of participation:

1) a conference presentation with the possibility of having it published in the form of an academic article by Springer (pending confirmation)
2) participation with the possibility of a presentation in thematic sections (without publishing).

Important dates:
11 December 2017 – registration for the conference
11 December 2017 – sending the title of a presentation along with an abstract (1000-2000 signs)
31 December 2017 – notification of acceptance
10 February 2018 – Submission full paper for publication
20 February 2018 – Acceptance
27 February 2018 – Deadline of payment

Conference places are limited. The registration confirmation will be sent after registration for the conference has been closed.

Participation fees
The conference participation fee including the possibility of having an article published is 680 PLN/ 160 EURO.
The conference participation fee including the possibility of delivering a presentation but excluding the possibility of having an article published is 350 PLN/ 80 EURO
The conference fee covers: conference materials, dinner, coffee break.
The conference fee should be paid until: 15.02.2018.
